How do I provide a photo for custom orders?
For custom Lithophanes, you can upload your high-resolution photo directly on the product page or email it to admin@crazyrayscreations.com.au. For the best results, choose a photo with good contrast and clear details.

What materials are used in your products?
Most of our items are created using high-quality 3D printing filaments (PLA) or laser-cut materials. These are durable, lightweight, and allow for incredible detail. Please note that 3D-printed items may have slight surface variations, which is a unique characteristic of the handcrafted process.

Are the items battery-powered?
If your specific product includes lighting (like our Lithophanes), it will feature an integrated, battery-powered LED. This allows for easy placement anywhere in your home without the need for power cords.

Can I request a custom color or size?
Absolutely! Many of our products have color options listed. If you have a specific color or size requirement that isn’t shown, please reach out and I’ll see if I can make it happen. Email me at admin@crazyrayscreations.com.au.

How should I care for my 3D-printed items?
To keep your items looking their best, keep them away from extreme heat (like a hot car dashboard) as 3D-printed materials can soften. For cleaning, a simple wipe with a damp cloth is all that’s needed.

What if my item arrives damaged?
I take great care in packaging these items, but if anything happens during transit, please contact me immediately at admin@crazyrayscreations.com.au with a photo of the damage so I can make it right.

How do I provide a photo for a Custom Portrait Bust?
Upload a clear, high‑resolution portrait photo on this product page (front-facing is best). Good lighting and sharp focus give the best results.

Can you add a name to the base?
Yes—add the name (or short text) you’d like on the base in the Order Notes at checkout.

How long will the bust last? (Care & lifespan)
Our busts are 3D‑printed in quality PLA (Marble White). With normal indoor display they should last for many years. Avoid direct sun for long periods and keep away from heat (e.g., hot car dashboards). Wipe gently with a soft, slightly damp cloth.

At Crazy Rays Creations, I take great pride in handcrafted quality. Because our products are custom-made to your specific photos or color choices, please note the following:

  • Custom & Personalised Items: We cannot accept returns for change-of-mind once production has started. However, our Satisfaction Guarantee means if your photo doesn’t look right, we will contact you before printing to fix it.
  • Damaged or Faulty Items: If your item arrives damaged or has a manufacturing fault, please contact me at admin@crazyrayscreations.com.au. Every order is covered by a 30-day fault guarantee.
  • Our Maker’s Promise: For major faults, you are entitled to a full refund or replacement. For minor issues, I will work with you to repair or replace the item immediately at no extra cost to you.
  • Cancellations: As work on your custom design often begins quickly, cancellations are only accepted within 12 hours of order placement.
  • Return Shipping: If an item is faulty, we will cover the return shipping costs. For non-custom exchanges (like standard planters), return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.

Artisan Sculptural Detail
Each angel is meticulously crafted with a focus on classical sculptural aesthetics. From the intricate, layered feathers of the sweeping wings to the soft, flowing folds of the robes, the detail is designed to be admired up close. The “Stone-Carved” look is achieved through high-resolution 3D sculpting, ensuring that the light catches every ridge and curve just like traditional masonry.

The CRC “Marble Stone” Finish
Unlike mass-produced plastic or heavy resin casts, our angels are printed using a specialized Marble-infused PLA+. This filament features subtle dark specks throughout a warm white base, perfectly mimicking the natural texture of polished marble. We use a fine 0.4mm nozzle and ultra-thin layer heights in our workshop to ensure a smooth, satin-stone finish that feels premium to the touch.

Lightweight Engineering for Easy Mounting
One of the key advantages of a CRC 3D-printed ornament is its weight. While these angels look like solid stone, they are engineered with an internal honeycomb structure. This makes them significantly lighter than traditional resin, allowing them to rest securely on narrow architrave edges.

  • Mounting Tip: Most customers find they sit perfectly on their own, but a small piece of mounting putty (Blu-Tack) or thin double-sided tape can be used for extra security on high-traffic doorways.
